Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire
Beachside yoga and wellness where the rhythm of the ocean guides your practice
Explore ClassesTides Yoga sits just steps from the shoreline of Broad Haven beach, housed in a beautifully restored coastal building with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the ever-changing Pembrokeshire sky.
Our studio is a sanctuary of light and calm. Sustainably built with reclaimed Welsh oak flooring, natural lime-washed walls, and underfloor heating throughout, the space holds up to 18 practitioners in generous comfort. The sea-facing practice room fills with natural light from dawn, while our smaller meditation room offers a quieter refuge for breathwork and reflection.
We believe the coastline is not just our backdrop but our teacher -- the tides remind us that everything moves in cycles, that effort and rest are equally essential.
Follow the circle. Inhale as it expands, exhale as it contracts.
A breath-led, flowing sequence that builds heat and strength. Each class is uniquely sequenced to move you through standing, balancing and floor postures with intention and grace.
Long-held, passive postures that target the deep connective tissues. A meditative practice perfect for releasing tension and cultivating stillness. Props provided for full support.
Practised in our infrared-heated room at 35 degrees, this class combines traditional postures with deep stretching. The warmth encourages flexibility and a thorough, satisfying release.
A warm, welcoming introduction to yoga. We cover foundational postures, breathing techniques and alignment principles at a gentle pace. No experience necessary -- just bring yourself.
Specially adapted sequences for every trimester. Focus on breath awareness, pelvic floor strength and gentle mobility. A supportive space to connect with your changing body.
Weather permitting, we take practice outdoors to the sand. Feel the breeze, hear the waves, and ground yourself directly into the earth. Our most popular summer class. Mats provided.
Elin grew up on the Pembrokeshire coast and trained in Rishikesh, India, completing her 500-hour certification under the guidance of traditional Hatha and Vinyasa masters. After a decade teaching in London and Bristol, she returned home to open Tides Yoga in 2019. Elin teaches Vinyasa Flow, Hot Yoga and Beach Yoga, weaving breathwork and mindfulness into every sequence. Her classes are known for their creative transitions, thoughtful theming and the way they leave you feeling both challenged and deeply rested.
Rhys came to yoga through physiotherapy, having spent years working with athletes and rehabilitation patients in Cardiff. His deep understanding of anatomy informs every class he teaches. He holds specialist certifications in Yin Yoga, prenatal yoga and trauma-sensitive practice. Rhys creates an environment of quiet encouragement, making his Beginners classes the perfect entry point for anyone new to yoga. His Yin sessions are a highlight of the weekly schedule -- meditative, deeply restorative, and always held with care.

Twice a year -- once in spring and once in autumn -- we host immersive weekend retreats right here on the Pembrokeshire coast. These are small-group gatherings, limited to 12 participants, designed to slow the pace and deepen your practice.
Each retreat includes four guided yoga sessions, coastal walking meditation along the cliff path, plant-based meals prepared by a local chef, a breathwork and sound healing workshop, and quiet time to simply be. Accommodation is arranged at a nearby partner guesthouse overlooking St Brides Bay.
Our next retreat runs the weekend of 16-18 May 2026. Early booking is strongly recommended as spaces fill quickly.
